I'll be off line for a day for the Jewish holiday of Shavuot.

My cheesecake is made and I like Shavuot for all kinds of other reasons. I like the way the Book of Ruth weaves together Jews and non-Jews and it is a special reminder to treat converts to Judaism with kindness, because they have a holy spark in them.
Ruth is an inspirational figure and from her lineage comes King David and, we all know who comes from King David's descendants.
