American parents can now be fined if their children are bullies.
Wow.
NUTS.
And who gets to decide who the bully is?
Let kids arbitrate their battles, and teach kids to fight back when bullies prey on them.
If a bully is continually victimizing kids at school-and I'm talking physical violence, and none of the victimized kids are pounding him or her back-then the bully should be removed from the school and it should be the parents' problem to deal with, and not the school or the other children the school.
And again, I'm not talking about name calling. I'm talking about physical violence.
Kids need to be able to tough it out when they are called names. And they need to be encouraged to pummel bullies.
Fining parents for bullying is one of the stupidest, wimpiest, bandaid, CRAPTASTIC ideas that I have heard of this week. But it's only Tuesday!!!
