The UK is Screwed

The BBC documents the 'evolution' of Edgware Road in London.

("Quaint", "multicultural", "alive", "great Lebanese food", etc..)

There is a mind-numbing disconnect between the description of the new Edgware Road and the July 2005 terrorist bombings that lasts several seconds. The community is a new Lebanon, and the bombings just kind of happened-so sad, etc...

I also found it telling that the restaurant owner (15 restaurants) could presumably not speak English well enough to be interviewed in English. That certainly says something about the cultural fragmentation of the UK.

This is the new Edgware Road, and where Edgware Road has gone, so too will the rest of Europe.
