This is the end result of believing that it is money that can "fix" everything.
No matter how much money is dumped into Detroit, it is still a crap hole and a murder capital of America.
Liberals think that throwing money at anything magically fixes it and Detroit is a recipient of so much "government" (read: taxpayer) largesse that it is probably impossible to quantify.
But Detroit suffers more from a malaise of the soul, and no amount of money can fix that.
