Repulsive: National Post Writer Makes "Reluctant" Case For Physician Performed "Virginity Tests" in Canada

This is one of those "oh-they are going to do it anyway, let's make it 'safe' arguments that is totally and utterly morally reprehensible.

The proper response to this "virginity" test issue is to fine-and I mean EXTRAORDINARILY fine any doctor or clinic who dares perform this "test" on any young woman in Canada.

The solution is not to make it easier, legitimize it or to make it "safe" because 'they are going to do it anyway'.

The solution is to make this kind of "test" impossible to carry out in Canada without severe repercussions from our civilized society.  That could mean financial or criminal consquences.

And it is also prudent to ask why Canada is bringing, or continues to bring immigrants to this country from places where the hymen, and their daughters' vaginas are the most important thing in their lives. It's creepy and misogynistic and barbaric.

We should not be making it easier for people who have these barbaric, tribal practices to come to Canada.

We are a free country. We are a civilized nation.

We can not start rationalizing and institutionalizing and even funding tribal, backward, anti-female practices.

This has no place in Canada.

The author talks about keeping things "above ground".

How about keeping tribal minded barbarians and their physician enablers out of young girls' and women's vaginas?

How about that?

For shame.

This is not a "reluctant" case for "virginity" tests, it is a complete capitulation to tribal barbarity, absurdity and misogyny.
