Mark Steyn: Winning Heads and Minds

A must read, of course.

I was off line for the Jewish New Year, and thus hadn't heard of the most recent terrorist beheading until I read a small, tiny paragraph in the newspaper about it, and then got more news Saturday night.

If you think about it, it really didn't take that long for beheadings to come from Europe to North America-so everyone should get ready for more of these "lone wolf" episodes of "workplace beheadings", as Jim Hoft calls them.

It really is so very difficult to have a conversation about well...anything really, when your head is being separated from your neck!

As Mark Steyn puts it:

"Nothing to do with Islam" is not yet the leading cause of death in developed nations, but it's making impressive strides."

But alas:

"It seems many western heads have too little up there to be worth chopping off."
