Sweden is on Team Death.
This is a troubling story on so many levels. The doctor gets punished for taking the father's wishes into consideration and counseling a couple instead of just performing an on-demand abortion.
Apparently, in Sweden, even though it takes two to tango-it takes only one parent to make the decision about terminating a pregnancy. Fathers get no say in the matter.
There are a lot of other things that are messed up in Sweden nowadays. They seem to have a consistent preference for bad choices, trying to socially engineer a more 'progressive' society, for ignoring the antisemitism in their midst and for forcing homeschooling families to consider leaving the country if they don't want their children indoctrinated by the national pre-school system.
Sweden is a big, disgusting mess.
