Non compliance with the CVE (Counter Extremism Training) Manual!

This is so sweet! And sensitive:

"In recent years, the United States has seen a number of individuals in the U.S. become involved in violent extremist activities (Ed: like what?), with particular activity by American residents and citizens inspired by al Qaeda and its ideology (Ed: which is what exactly?). We know that violent extremism is not confined to any single ideology, but we also know that the threat posed by al Qaeda and its adherents (Ed: mealy mouths) is the preeminent threat we face in the homeland."

"It is important for law enforcement personnel to be appropriately trained in understanding and detecting ideologically motivated criminal behavior, and in working with communities and local law enforcement to counter domestic violent extremism. Training must be accurate, based on current intelligence, and must include cultural competency training."

Now, I am not very bright, but I don't recall General Eisenhower or Winston Churchill, FDR or Stalin insisting that Allied soldiers go through CVE training.

Let's rejig those paragraphs-just for kicks. Imagine: 

"In recent years, the United States  Europe has seen a number of individuals in the U.S. Europe become involved in violent Nazi extremist activities with particular activity by American  German residents and citizens inspired by al Qaeda Hitler and its  his ideology. We know that violent extremism is not confined to any single ideology, but we also know that the threat posed by al Qaeda and its the Nazis and their adherents ( is the preeminent threat we face in the homeland. today."

"It is important for law enforcement personnel soldiers to be appropriately trained in understanding and detecting ideologically motivated criminal behavior, and in working with communities and local law enforcement to counter domestic violent extremism. Training must be accurate, based on current intelligence, and must include Nazi cultural competency training."
