For many years, I was afraid to "come out of the closet" as a conservative.
And then someone threatened to expose me and that's where I hit my limit.
You want to threaten to expose me? Piss off-I'll pre-empt you and expose myself.
So I did.
And you know what happened?
NOTHING.
So stop being so afraid.
Start telling jokes. Start having honest conversations. Laugh at people. Laugh at yourself for crying out loud.
Nobody is above the fight and nobody is beneath it.
Do you think that you will never find another job? That nobody will employ you ever again because you said something, or wrote something or made a joke? Who wants to live that kind of life?
Believe me-at every job, at the end of your time at any workplace, you put your stuff in a shoebox and walk out without any employer sentimentality.
Life ain't a dress rehearsal.
