Apparently, a bunch of IDF combat soldiers could not resist dancing to Gangnam Style at a Palestinian wedding in Hebron while they were in the middle of a patrol.
So they danced with a bunch of Palestinians while they were loaded up in full combat gear, G-d bless them.
I can understand that they need to be disciplined-they could have been lynched. But for me this is a strangely, weirdly hopeful little clip-even for a complete Mid East pessimist like me.
Hebron is the "Ir Avoteinu", the home of the Cave of the Patriarchs.
For a few split seconds, the descendants of Abraham and Ishmael had a few dancing moments together where their forefathers and mothers once lived and are buried.
It's crazy, but that's the Middle East.
