America, I Love You, But You Are Being Governed By Imbeciles (UPDATED)

And I mean this from the bottom of my heart.

Mark Steyn has a blog post up about the American leadership and its pea brains and Big Climate.

"Do As I Say, Or the Planet Gets It".

Naturally, it's full of Steynian gems such as this:

"Last week, John Kerry gave a speech on "climate change" at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and dismissed the skeptics:
What happens if they're wrong? If they're wrong - catastrophe. Life as you know it on Earth ends.
"John Kerry is America's Secretary of State. That's to say, he presides over a department whose abandoned diplomatic compound in Tripoli is currently a playground for Libyan jihadists, whose consular officials facilitated the entry into the United States of an Ebola-bearing Liberian, whose continued occupation of the most expensive embassy in the history of the planet is dependent on ISIS stopping its annexation of Iraq at the gates of the Green Zone ...but John Kerry is focused like a laser on climate change."

"So too is Chuck Hagel:
Drastic weather, rising seas and changing storm patterns could become "threat multipliers" for the United States, vastly complicating security challenges faced by American forces, the Pentagon said in a new report on the impact of climate change released Monday...
In remarks released alongside the 20-page report, Hagel said the Pentagon is nearly done with a survey that will assess the vulnerability of its military installations to climate change. He cited the Hampton Roads region of Virginia as an example of an area that has both military bases and recurrent flooding, adding that defense officials are developing plans to address a projected sea-level rise of about 1.5 feet in the next 20 to 50 years.
"Chuck Hagel is America's Secretary of Defense. That's to say, he presides over a department whose desultory air strikes can't prevent ISIS taking Kobani and slaughtering thousands ...but he's focused like a laser on "developing plans" to address sea-level rise in the Hampton Roads area circa 2050."

Of course it is a magnificent summary of the most immature, non-serious, destructive, anti-Western administration in American history.

But I also have to add into the mix another element that doesn't bode well for America and that is John Kerry's (which is Obama by extension) and their despicable obsession with the Palestinians.

When you have an American administration that is laser focused also on rewarding the Palestinians for their genocidal, Jew-hating ways and consistently punishing the Jews, it is not going to bode well for your society and culture. That's just a fact.

Under Kerry and Obama, America is fully aligned with the death cult. The first pro-genocidal administration in American history. What an illustrious first for this tag team of sinister blowhards.

Though many individual Americans remain strongly pro-Israel (and thus pro-West, and ultimately proponents of the culture of life) their voices are effectively being smothered right now by this jizyah-doling, disgusting terror and Ebola-appeasing administration.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record player, I'll say it again.

History shows us that cultures that destroy and punish their Jews go down the toilet bowl of history.

Cultures and societies that celebrate Judeo-Christian values, and indeed-Jews themselves, thrive and prosper.

Israel and the Jewish people will outlast and outlive these despicable Jew-haters, but at a very dear cost in life.

There has never before been such a significant shift in official policy against Israel in American history, and an American tide turning against the State of Israel, coinciding with the greatest fiscal and political decline in American history is no mere coincidence.

As John Hinderaker wrote in the PowerLine blog about Mark Steyn's recent appearance in Minnesota:

"Mark was as funny, as perceptive and as fact-filled as always, but in addition he struck me as more impassioned than I have ever seen him. Maybe it was my imagination, but I attribute the passion to the fact that the hour is getting late."

It's very true, and I believe the problem is compounded by the fact that American decline, and the erosion of the American republic to this degree is simply historically unprecedented.

Most of the world and indeed, a great many Americans cannot picture the end of American primacy and leadership because it hasn't happened before.

But unfortunately, there really is a first time for everything-even American decline and the collapse of the republic.

What we are seeing is what happens when there is a heartbreaking convergence of America's imbecilic, preening "leaders" and their "laser" focus on the minutia of life and the weather, coupled with an erosion of the sanctity of American borders and then topped off with a truly sinister embrace and celebration of the Palestinian/Islamic death cult.

This witches brew of the g-dless left is going to make for very, very rough times ahead for the entire Western world and it's going to get a whole lot worse before anything starts to get better.

Some American leaders (like Ted Cruz in particular) seem to have a better idea of what's going on.

Here's Rick Perry, speaking in London.

"The hatreds of unassimilated radicals only draw further attention to anti-Semitism in general.  It’s a familiar problem in a new time. In Europe it ranges as in times past from thuggish abuse to desecration to commentaries on Israel that cover crude dislike in the veneer of respectable opinion. There is a way to deal with anti-Semitism, and it’s not by smiling politely and hoping that it goes away. The full force of law, when people and property are harmed, is only the most obvious response. Just as important is what Chancellor Merkel did a few weeks ago, to her great credit, when she called this sin by its name. She has stated in confident, unmistakable terms that tolerance ends where anti-Semitism begins. It shaped Europe’s past, in ways that everyone regrets and no nation can afford to let it shape Europe’s future."

ANOTHER GROOVY UPDATE:

Rush Limbaugh seems to agree with me...
