Grab A Coffee, Let's Get Caught Up
Was unable to post at all yesterday due to a combination of technical, scheduling and real life issues.

No, we should not be celebrating zaftik Sports Illustrated models.
Now, I am a gal, and I don't really care about Sports Illustrated. I don't care about models either, that is to say that I have other things to worry about that narcissistic lolly-pop anorexics strutting around in their designer panties.
However, I will say that trying to convince the public that fat is attractive is a big, fat lie. "Curvy" = bullshit. "Embrace my curves" = "I will get gastric band surgery as soon as I get enough attention on line".
I'm not a guy, but if I were a guy, I'd be thinking that this chick has a very pretty face, has the sexy make-up, and a nice rack that looks real ("curvy" chicks usually are more well endowed), but I'd be thinking "moped". Guys still don't like fat chicks. Fat is not hot. Women want to be desired.
Fat is not desirable. It doesn't matter how much baby oil, gold lame bathing suits or smoky eye make up is put on a woman, if she's fat, she's fat.
Fat women also tend to really like sparkly stuff and other attention-seeking accessories like fake nails, rhinestones, gaudy makeup, hooker heels, leopard prints and BIG hair. They are trying to distract from their largeness. It's awful. It's like the fashion equivalent of "LOOK SQUIRREL!!!".
Growing old truly sucks, but growing old tastefully, with some class, and not like a cheap whore with a hair peroxide addiction, blinding people with sparkles is definitely better.

As I always say, what starts with thew Jews never ends with the Jews.
That is why Islamic Jew-hatred and murder in Europe is not "just" about the Jews.
It's about Europe making a conscious choice to commit suicide via submission to Islam. It's a terribly frightening thing to observe from this side of the ocean. But luckily for us, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau and his nutcase administration are doing their very best to ensure that we are also overwhelmed by waves of Syrian Muslim refugees, so we here in Canada are really just a decade or so away from European "diversity".
This is an instructive, common sense video that have very few views, which goes to show how little people understand about the fact that antisemitism says more about any given society and its culture, rather than the disgusting, single mind and rotted souls of individual Jew-haters.

This is NOT SAFE FOR WORK, but it's hysterical.
"Political correctness" is like the emperor's new clothes. Everyone with half a brain knows that it's total an utter BS, but have just been mentally castrated to the point of not even wanting to make a whimper of a protest, and just fall into the leftist line.
You want to know why Trump is soaring? Partly because of this-because of a general feeling of joy that finally, one is "entitled" to say that the emperor is naked.
This is so funny. It's so vulgar, and so non-PC, I love it soooooo much. See how many times you laugh out loud.
My only question is if all of those kids are actually paid actors, or if they are actual dumbass students. It's really hard to tell.

Out of 90 pictures, there are really very few that are even moderately attractive, and only one group shot that looks even remotely masculine.

OK 41 is not terrible. The two guys in suits in 77, so so. Number 80 is sharp but too contrived and the group shot, number 90 has some nice items but it's also very effete.

I am actually reading his book now "The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided By Politics and Religion". It's very good, and it was recommended by Ben Shapiro on his excellent daily pod cast.
It's funny, I had never heard of Haidt before last week and now he's sort of everywhere on my radar. Isn't it weird when that happens?
Anyway, the whole interview is very good, but the one nugget that really jumped off the page for me is that he refuses to donate to Yale University because of its aggressive, nonsensical social justice malarky.
Voting with your chequebook is really the only power that alumni and other concerned citizens have over universities. The bloated administrators cannot be shamed, nor can their leftist establishment professor base. Cash is king. Only when they are hit in the pocket, is there any real hope for change.

Steyn: The Peace of Submission
Mark Steyn puts the current, polite, deferent Islamic invasion into it's proper historical context.
There are a great many similarities between Soviet totalitarianism and Islamic totalitarianism: the devotion, the nihilism, the negation of Judeo-Christian (i.e civilized) values, the amount of money and energy and treasure spent, the deaths, the propaganda bureaus, the corrupt leadership. There are too many commonalities to list.
Here's an excellent little interview with Mark Steyn (in Eurobia!!) talking about why Angela Merkel has put Germany on a course of suicide by immigration. He mentions her childlessness, and the arrogance of the elite swatches of European leadership. Others have looked at it from the point of view of Germany trying to redeem itself from the Holocaust, but Hitler must be having a very good chuckle at German logic-'redeeming' Germany from the Holocaust by inviting hundreds of thousands of Jew-hating Muslims onto European soil.
I found it very interesting to hear Steyn talk about how Merkel can conceded in fiscal negotiations with the Greeks that Greeks are not German. But in her arrogance, she cannot or will not concede that the hordes of primitive, mostly illiterate, sharia-based young men are not, and indeed cannot be German.
But perhaps most importantly, I found Steyn's tie really lovely, very nice shirt and tie ensemble, and that's the main thing, right? Nice blues!

I've always said that leftists don't understand faith. The only thing that comes close to faith for them is their pride. Money comes close, they also feel that money solves problems-taking your money and redistributing it to other people and favourite causes is their idea of "fixing" a problem. The problem is that no amount of money can fix a problem that has nothing to do with money.
Most human problems are problems of the soul. There's no financial fix for that.
But back to Islam and the political left:

I made a formal complaint with management regarding the conduct of an older woman at my gym who sits buck naked on the floor of the showers in all her glory as she washes and got no response.
There are others who looofah and cut their nails in the sauna.
One of the attendants I discussed it with said not to expect a response because RACISM.
BLECHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
And it's so familiar.

There's day after day of grey skies, lots of craptacular stuff in the news, and simply an unending source of vomit-inducing leftist shenanigans to bring to your attention (you're welcome).
If you're like me, stories about the crazy and belligerent political left, and it's torrid love affair with radical Islam can sometimes get you down. I know it gets you down because you send me e-mails, and I try my best to steer you on the right path: GIRD YER LOINS because it's going to be a very bumpy ride for a very long time.
Everyone has their own recipe for lifting spirits and ultimately, this is a task that can only be accomplished on one's own. But it never hurts, and in fact it always helps to support friends and family members, and like-minded travellers as they face down their demons and fight their battles.
Here are some of the most important things and the things you can control.
They may seem small, but it's the small things that are the big things.
First of all, don't be afraid. Trust in G-d.
Speak freely. Tell jokes. Raise your children well, hug them. Tell people you love them now, because you never know. Laugh. Don't censor yourself. Do good things. Fight back. And don't let the horrible, joy-killing left and it's grotesque allies live in your head rent-free.
On that note, I'd like to make a pitch for something that you can do right now to raise morale, fight back, and end up Feline Groovy all in the same way.

To wit: "the Bush camp has spent more on staff and consultants than any of the leading candidates. Starting roughly in the spring, Bush paid out about $8 million. Cruz spent just $2 million; Rubio, just under $2 million; and Trump, $1.7 million."
How bad can the optics be while paying lip service to identifying with regular Americans?

Kudos, seriously Kol Hakavod to Paul Bronfman for pulling his support from York due to the disgusting anti-Israel, antisemitic mural "gracing" their halls.

This is what real Jewish leaders do: identify a problem that affects Jews, and do something about it.
There is no reason that Jewish money should fund anti-Jewish anything.
I hope that more people follow Mr. Bronfman's excellent example.
