I have experienced this, so I had the anecdotal evidence, but it's nice to see that my observations confirm something the insiders say about themselves.
I find making chit-chat and small talk with (some) Asians difficult.
You know, like the kind of dorky things that you say in the elevator, or when looking at produce. They seem to lack the kibbitzing gene.
