I wrote a lengthy (and heartfelt, if I do say so myself) letter to both the Prime Minister and Minister Jason Kenney about the erosion of free speech in Canada back in January.
I've yet to receive even a dorky acknowledgement of my letter. Not even a form letter saying 'hey-thanks for writing'. Nothing.
I've had more prompt responses from local trustees and municipal officials.
Being mute on free speech does not really bode well for Canadian liberty.
I've come to expect much more from the Harper-Kenney Conservatives.
Perhaps that is stupid and naive of me.
Perhaps they would like to prove me wrong.
