We are soft on crime.
The justice system coddles criminals.
This story makes me completely sick.
A guy (immigrant from South America who claims he was tortured-so what, why should that make any difference whasoever) rapes a disabled young woman with Cerebral Palsy-who is in a wheelchair and the Crown asks for 4 years.
One of the scariest things about having a disabled child, especially one who is non-verbal, is the fear that they will be abused and to compound the nightmare-will not be able to tell you about it.
That's why sick, disgusting creatures like this fellow prey on the disabled. They usually can't fight back.
All I can say is anyone who messed with my kid (any of them, BTW) would find themselves watching a suburban, Jewish Canadian Mom go Full Texas Justice on them. .
