It was a real witch hunt and now it's over.
When radical leftists hate someone, they use every tool available to punish them: financial, professional, psychological-you name it.
They can't agree to disagree with you: they want to destroy you.
The tools and the process are the punishment.
Then, once it's "over" they just move on to another victim.
