He apologized and quit only because he offended people.
This is something that scares the living daylights out of me-the number of people who think that the disabled should be killed, that their lives aren't worth living. This SOB said it out loud, a lot of other think it quietly.
We need them out of public office and the hell away from our children.
At least this one is now. There are plenty of sympathizers with his position though out there-a silent but large group.

When you read an article like that, and see kids like this-well, as a special needs parent it makes my heart ache and soar.
