As someone who 'came out' of the conservative closet myself, his words really resonate with me. There is a price, but it's worth it.
I love that it was a combination of "random" conversations, his own common sense, a nagging voice at the back of his head and "randomly" hearing Rush on the radio that set him on this path.
This guy has a lot of courage and I hope a lot of Republican policy makers are listening and paying close attention. This is your guy. This is the model.
