This is a pretty good piece on ex-Muslim apostates, but doesn't really get into the danger facing them. It just mentions the danger in passing, without giving too much detail about how the close family, the blood relatives are involved in cleaning the "honour" of the family by extinguishing the life of the apostate or otherwise "badly" behaving female.
