Boteach is a publicity-hungry guy, but his smear of Rabbi Sacks was disgusting and dishonest.
Rabbi Sacks was merely stating the facts about European Jewry, not advocating surrender. I'd say shame on Boteach but you can't shame the shameless. Rabbi Sacks was describing how the deranged Jew-haters of the BDS movement have succeeded in making Europe an environment that is hostile to living, breathing Jews with opinions.
It is VERY clear that he is blaming the Jew-haters and not in any way suggesting that Israel is to blame for this disgusting antisemitism.
