I would urge anyone reading my blog to actually read Alinsky. It is horrifying stuff.
A lot of people have asked me why I read it.
I'll tell you why-it is very important to get into the mindset of these thugs and understand how they work.
There is no lie they won't tell ("If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.") to get what they want.
They make up stuff and manipulate people emotionally all the time.
They blackmail people, they intimidate. There is no tactic too dirty for them.
They think lying is honourable.
Alinsky is required reading for any "conservative" who thinks that if we are nice enough to them, and try to maintain a "civil" dialogue with them, that they will respect us and understand our positions.
That kind of naivety is dangerous and a form of capitulation to the enemy.
