I love this story for so many reasons, but most of all because it shows how one person CAN make a difference.
A real difference.
It is heartbreaking to see how many students want to get in but can't be accommodated yet. So, I disagree with her assessment that liberals care for 'the little guys' and about 'social justice'.
Most liberals today exhibit a very soft racism of low expectations and unions are interested in the health and financial health of the union-period. Bureaucracies exist only to self-perpetuate, no matter how allegedly noble the cause.
