Another Reason Why the BBC Completely Sucks

I'm not a huge fan of the BBC. I find their stiff-upper-lip-garden-variety antisemitic, anti-Israel, pro-terrorist, anti-Western posture offensive and disgusting.

Now, I have an extra reason to despise the BBC.

Apparently, BBC head honchos decided that it wasn't advisable to "alienate" the large swatches of antisemitic Hungarians during the Second World War who listened to their broadcasts in Hungarian.

Thus, the decision was made not to warn Hungarian Jews about their impending deportation at the hands of the Nazis.

A memo setting out policy for the BBC Hungarian Service in 1942 states: "We shouldn't mention the Jews at all."

The "...policy of silence on the Jews was followed right up until the German invasion in March 1944. After the tanks rolled in, the Hungarian Service did then broadcast warnings. But by then it was too late."
