Stop Feeling Sorry For Yourself

I know, everyone has moments.

But stop feeling sorry for yourself. Think of your blessings. Can you read? Can you hear? Can you breath on your own, eat on your own? You are already ahead of the game.

I never get tired of these videos, do you?

From the UK, Joanne Milne hears for the first time.

"They are seven simple words we all take for granted.

But as Joanne Milne heard her doctor recite the days of the week, she was overwhelmed with emotion, fighting back tears and gasping to catch her breath.

Until that moment the 40-year-old's world had been silent.

Born with the rare condition Usher Syndrome, Ms Milne has been deaf since birth and in her mid-20s the condition claimed her sight.

G-d bless the physicians and technologists who facilitate these incredible things.

What a privilege to be able to bestow such G-dly gifts through human hands. Just delightful.
