Does anyone think it's just a little bit strange that a fancy, middle-aged PLUS lawyer ('friend of family') would be bankrolling a lawsuit for a teenage girl?
I do.
This is all the result of the (horribly stupid) parenting idea that one must be "friends" with one's child.
I am not my child's friend.
I am the parent. The responsible adult. If my kids like me, that's awesome. I know they love me. If I do it right, we will have a great relationship and they will honour their parents-as per The Bible.
Honour. Not like.
